The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced that Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson will help open the 2026 FORUM INFOFLEX during the 8:00 a.m. keynote session on Monday morning.

Mayor Johnson will join FTA president Nathan Ridnouer for the opening keynote, FTA’s Impact on the Industry. Here, Johnson will welcome attendees to Milwaukee and highlight the role of innovation, collaboration and economic development within both the region and the flexographic printing industry.

“Having Mayor Johnson join us to open FORUM INFOFLEX is a meaningful moment for our association and our industry,” states Ridnouer. “It underscores the important connection between flexographic printing, manufacturing, and the communities we serve, and highlights the role our industry plays in driving economic growth and innovation.”

Mayor Johnson has served as the 45th mayor of the City of Milwaukee since 2022 and is the first Black mayor elected in the city’s history. Since taking office, he has focused on key priorities including violence reduction, economic development, and roadway safety.

A lifelong Milwaukee resident, Mayor Johnson brings a strong commitment to public service and community development, shaped by his early experiences growing up in the city. Prior to his election as mayor, he served as Common Council president representing Milwaukee’s 2nd Aldermanic District.

His participation in the opening keynote underscores the connection between the flexographic industry and the local community, as well as the broader impact of manufacturing and innovation on regional economies.

2026 FORUM INFOFLEX brings together industry professionals from across the globe to share technical knowledge, explore new technologies, and advance the future of flexographic printing.
